![]() ![]() A properly trained Diabetic Alert Dog allows families to relax a little more each day as it grows to know your diabetic’s signs and smells, granting greater freedom and allowing them to lead a fulfilling life. Most families worry that their diabetic will be unable to lead an independent life. When a family member has diabetes, it feels like you can never stop thinking about them. If you would like to sign up or have any questions about classes you can contact Lori or Jack (810.714.4861) Basic Household obedience class is form 6:30-7:20.We are currently teaching at The American Legion in Milford.We will recommend a collar for your dog and you can try it out before you buy it! We will have equipment available for purchase at class such as collars, leashes, (no retractable leashes allowed in class) brushes, toys and treats.Proof of vaccination is required for all dogs attending. The first class is orientation and we ask that you leave your dogs at home.Classes are 50 minutes each week for 6 weeks.Jack and Lori are also available for private lessons. We prepare you for passing the Therapy Dog International (TDI) test and bring in a third party from TDI to certify you and your dog as a Therapy Dog team. ![]() Our Advanced class is geared towards training your dog to be a Therapy Dog. We can help you solve everyday problems such as jumping, counter surfing, pulling on the leash, barking and running away. Basic Household Obedience classes will teach your dog to walk on a leash without pulling.
